This is hands down the biggest and best Whole Foods I’ve ever visited. It has two floors, an incredibly wide selection of products, a bakery, a pizzeria, a prepared-food counter, a coffee shop, and super friendly staff. This is the kind of service that makes you want to come back again and again.

Was racially profiled here yesterday. This is not my usual WF and the layout is not particularly intuitive. I found myself having to circle around the store multiple times to find the items on my list. As I was making my way through the store, I noticed the security guard seemed to be everywhere I turned. At one point it became so clear he was following me, that I turned and acknowledged him with a “hello.” As I was heading to checkout, I heard him over his walkie give my location to someone else. I was one of two Black people in the store. I have never felt so uncomfortable while shopping. Will never go back.

i am consistently racially profiled at this location. a few months ago, one of the security guards stopped me, as i was paying for my groceries and asked to search my bag (which is an illegal search.) he accused me of stealing diapers. when i allowed him to look into my bag, there were no diapers and he just walked away. didn't even apologize for embarrassing me. two days ago, i went into this location with my full afro and a beautiful dress. a manager with neck tattoos and a Hispanic lady at the juice bar decided to have the security follow me around the store for absolutely no reason! they were trying to do it on the down low but i noticed! i noticed the security following me and hanging out in the chicken section as i had told the juice bar lady that i would be right back and i was going to wait on the chicken upstairs. these idiots thought i was talking about the frozen chicken when i was referring to the hot foods bar chicken. they were out of the chicken legs but told me that it would be ready in 20min so i went down stairs to order my smoothie while i waited for the chicken and was racially profiled for doing so i guess. the juice bar lady also questioned me as to why i

I used to go to this Whole Foods all the time because it really was the best. Large selection, friendly staff. But as of June '26, I'm taking my business elsewhere. The juice line is incredibly slow, I've had multiple items priced incorrectly, and though there is the occasional friendly, knowledgeable staff, 3 out of 4 times the people have no idea where anything is. Poor, poor management, no training, and today, after waiting in the juice line for 10 minutes and not even being able to order, I grabbed a supervisor and asked them for help, only for them to say: Nope, sorry.

This is honestly one of the best Whole Foods I’ve been to. The Pasadena location is massive, open, and full of light — it just feels good to walk around in. There’s a relaxed vibe here too, way less uptight than some other stores I’ve visited. The buffet and hot food section is seriously impressive. Loads of options — from sushi and vegan dishes to fresh fruit and hearty comfort food. It’s the kind of place where you could easily grab lunch or dinner and actually be excited about it. They’ve also got a great range of everything else — organic produce, pantry staples, frozen meals, supplements, snacks from all over. It’s well laid out and easy to navigate, even when it’s busy. Staff were friendly, the store was spotless, and I genuinely enjoyed wandering the aisles. Whether you’re shopping for the week or just grabbing a bite, Whole Foods Pasadena is worth the visit.
